Job Description PURPOSE OF THE POSITION. The operations manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company. They will ensure efficient and effective use of resources, coordinate various departments, and implement strategies to optimize productivity and profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

Monitor and analyse performance metrics to identify areas of improvement and implement corrective actions.

Coordinate with department heads to align operations and foster collaboration.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and internal policies.

Manage and optimize resource allocation, including staff, equipment, and finances.

Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent service delivery.

Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to make informed decisions.

Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and employee engagement.

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback, coaching and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in business management or a related field.

Proven experience as an operations Manager or in a similar role.

Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.

Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in using computer software and tools for operations management.

Familiarity with industry regulations and best practices.

Ability to multitask and prioritise projects effectively.
