COMMERCIAL FRUIT COORDINATOR, Hoedspruit

Job Purpose

Coordinate and support fruit export sales activities as per the sales plan and provide administrative support to the Commercial Managers. This position will work closely with the Logistics, Technical and Trade Finance departments to ensure efficient and best practice service to our clients.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide effective and efficient communication to all key customers (producers, packhouses and clients)
• Confirm consignee details with freight forwarder and documentation requirements
• Check and send out Packing List and Invoice to clients (Follow up with Trader to make sure they approve in time)
• Follow up on all Export documentation to prevent unnecessary delays
• Send draft and final vessel documentation to clients
• Assist with Shipping line claims
• Updating and sending of Shipment reports
• Notice mails for delayed shipments
• Handle general/daily queries from key customers and communicate with Logistics and Marketing
• Responsible for all product sample preparations
• Assist with Special market requirements (ie import Permits/ Pro-forma Invoices)
• Assist with Release letters and any Survey requests on arrival
• Assist with Debit and Credit Notes
• Assist with Manual Invoices and Packing Lists
• Save Final vessel documentation on server/system folder.
• Additional support as required by Traders

Qualifications / Skills and Experience

• Tertiary qualification relevant to the position (marketing, agriculture, business management, logistics)
• 3 years' experience in the Export or Fruit Industry
• Strong planning and coordination skills
• Strong time management skills and deadline driven
• Strong administration skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
