Junior Accountant CA(SA)– Durbanville, Cape Town. Duties and Responsibilities:

Assisting the Financial Manager with any ad hoc requests.

Writing of excel sheets to automate certain accounting functions.

Assist other Finance staff with workloads if/when required.

Processing of supplier accounts in various entities.

Assisting with the BBBEE procurement process and annual audit.

Assisting with external and internal financial audits.

Assisting with the processing of subcontractor certificates.

Ownership of ordering system and strengthening of procurement process.

Buildsmart accounting and procurement champion.

Processing and administration of Plant and equipment.

Banking authorisation.

Any other ad hoc duties as may be required within the Financial and Administration department.

Requirements:

Newly qualified CA(SA).

Preference will be given to immediately available candidates.

Computer savvy and a curiosity to learn more about software (if this is not you, then this job is not for you).

Results driven mentality.

South African citizen.
