Technical Support Specialist, Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality

A well established Manufacturing / Engineering / Service & Support concern is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join their Technical Team.

Qualifications / Experience:

- Grade 12 or Matric
- Technical certification or diploma an advantage
- 3-5 years extensive experience in heavy equipment
   manufacturing
- Ability to work extended hours as required to meet deadlines
- Ability to travel as required
- Knowledge of, and experience with, SAP, Microsoft Navision or
   Business Central is beneficial
- Utilize 3D CAD programs to create illustrations for manuals
- Knowledge of, and experience with Microsoft Office
  (Excel/Word/PowerPoint) is beneficial
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulics and electrical
  systems
- Good understanding of engineering drawings with ability to
  read and interpret equipment schematics
- Good understanding of bill of material structures and
  engineering/manufacturing processes
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must be flexible, self-motivated, and driven to achieve
  customer satisfaction goals and targets
- Superior customer relations and active listening skills
