IVF Laboratory Assistant, Bloemfontein

Our client is seeking a professional, detail-oriented, and dedicated IVF Laboratory Assistant to join our dynamic fertility team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a strong scientific background who is passionate about reproductive science and laboratory excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Biological Sciences, Genetics, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or a related scientific field.
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans (spoken and written).
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Professional, reliable, and able to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily laboratory operations and procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, and organise laboratory equipment and materials.
• Ensure laboratory records and documentation are completed accurately.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and compliance with quality standards.
• Assist embryologists and laboratory personnel with routine laboratory tasks.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of laboratory supplies.
• Adhere to all laboratory protocols, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
• Perform administrative duties related to laboratory processes when required.
