Salary: R28 000 - MAX R35 000 p/m CTC with benefits included

The company offers a salary of between R28 000 to MAX R35 000 p/m CTC with benefits included as follows;

Job Scope: Provide specialist consulting and training for the bakery service department

Requirements:

• Matric
• Certificate – relevant Specialist area
• 3 years' experience in a bakery department
• Food Safety knowledge
• A Valid driver's license
• Must be able to bake as well, not just advising & consulting alone
• Financial and business understanding
• Good knowledge of store operations
• Able to work independently

Duties and responsibilities:

• Build and maintain effective customer relationships (internal and/or external)
• Check standards to identify adherence or deviations
• Ensure stores implement and comply with minimum standards as per ROC and QPRO
• Formulate and agree with department supervisor/manager and retailer on corrective actions.
• Promote hygiene standards to support the store image
• Turnover figures for DC purchasers drop shipment and loyalty
• Drive promotions at retail to effect sales,
• Schedule visits to all retailer portfolio (call cycle), promotional stock
• Visit retailers to affect sales, telesales
• Assist and train on stock takes and costing
• Implement a Tailored Service Package (TSP)
• Identify opportunities for new store equipment and specifications
• Advice on store systems and train retail staff on the application of systems
• Comply with legislation and policies
• Deliver specialist training
• Address unproductive unprofitable practices and issues
• Audit waste control, production standards and processes and formulate action
• Conduct price checks
• Assess retailer performance and profitability
