Plant Manager (Utilities)

Location: Mpumalanga Salary: R 900,000 - 1.0 million

Our client in the utilities Industry is looking to hire a Plant Manager.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

To plan, coordinate and control activities, and manage assets to ensure acceptable standards of financial performance.

To ensure that the process and product quality of the plant meets acceptable international and customer standards.

To ensure high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers.

Adhere to minimum standards and apply best practices.

To ensure that the image, personnel, and management enhanced in all relationships with external stakeholders.

To create a culture and climate in the plant that supports and develops a learning organization.

QUALIFICATION

BSc Degree - Chemical Engineering required.

Certificate in Operations Management will be advantageous.

A minimum of 7 years' experience in managing Water Treatment Plants, preferably within the Mining industry.

Certificate of fitness is a prerequisite for employment.

Mechanical aptitude - capacity for understanding, operating, and modifying mechanical devices. It includes specific aptitudes such as mechanical reasoning, object assembly, etc.

Leadership orientation - ability to lead, take charge, and offer opinions and direction
