Significant operational improvements are required to achieve the company’s ambition of being the most valued mining company in the eyes of all stakeholders. This includes the realization of Burning Ambition, Zero Harm, Elimination of Fatalities, Life of Asset Plan and advancement of Future Smart Mining.The Senior Project Manager takes accountability at an operational level for the planning and delivery of the project/scope of work assigned. Responsibilities: Effective safety leadership and behavior modeling for the project team, contractors, and construction workforce. Development of an integrated plan incorporating all stakeholders and technical functions in line with Company standards.Set-up of required controls to ensure delivery against standards and objectives defined in the project charter. Effective leadership of cross-functional teams in line with the Company values. Transparent reporting of progress to stakeholders. Consistently apply Safety&Health principles in all team interactions. Performance&Delivery: Manage/coordinate the project team of specialists to deliver expectations. Manage the project charter, scope, deliverables, budget, and schedule. Manage external stakeholders (e.g., EPCMs, owner team specialists, DMR). Manage and integrate the interface between all stakeholders in project execution.Manage multi-discipline study teams during front-end loading phases. Participate in project assurance reviews at stage gates. Manage reporting on project progress and monitor progress versus plan. Requirements: A relevant degree in Engineering/Technical/Construction discipline. Certified as a Project Management Professional (PMP).A minimum of 10 years of experience in delivering mining projects, preferably within the Refinery/Smelter/Process environment. Key Skills: Proficient in project management skills and business improvement techniques. Advanced communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage and engage with all relevant stakeholders.Package&Remuneration: Highly Negotiable
