Pharmacist Assistant (Post-Basic), Ermelo

Purpose of the Job

Medirite Ermelo is looking for a qualified Pharmacist Assistant Post Basic to join our team temporarily from 23 July 2025 to 31 January 2026.

The successful candidate will assist the pharmacist with dispensing and performing pharmacy-related administrative duties. 

Key Performance Areas include:

Stock control Dispensing (under the supervision of a pharmacist) Administration Housekeeping Frontshop service

Essential:

Qualified as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant. Registered as a Post Basic Pharmacist Assistant with the South African pharmacy council. Experience Two years+ experience working in a similar role. Knowledge and Skills

Essential:

Customer service orientated

Dispensing knowledge

Knowledge of dispensing systems and ordering systems

Desirable:

Knowledge of Retail/ FMCG operations
