Job Description

As a Metallurgical Technical Engineer, based in the Mpumalanga Province, you will be responsible to control the plant within the technical specifications/parameters defined. Ensure technical audit of the plant is conducted to required standards. Provide technical support to Senior Metallurgist and production manager of plant operations. Ensure that recommendations as to plant improvement are considered in the “specifications/parameters” review process. In this position, attention to details is a must.

The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

•B Eng. Metallurgy/Chemical Engineering or similar

•Post graduate qualification will be advantageous

•5 years or more extensive post qualification experience in technical management of extractive metallurgy of gold processes or development projects

•Metallurgical process and plant operating skills;

•Gold commodity experience will be highly advantageous
