Workshop Manager, Mpumalanga

Job Description

Our client in Mpumalanga is looking for a Workshop Manager. The appointed person will have the responsibility to direct, plan and grow the Workshop operations according to the strategic direction set by the organization. They will have to ensure that the workshop operates in an ethical, production and profitable manner and that it meets the objectives of its shareholders, staff and customers.

Requirements:

•Grade 12 or N4 Mechanical Engineering

•Degree/National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

•Engineering Trade Test Qualifications – Diesel Mechanic

•Minimum 4 years’ experience as a Diesel Foreman or currently 3 years’ experience as a Workshop Manager or Chief Foreman Diesel

•Supervisory Course

•Knowledge on CAT, Hitachi, Volvo, Bell, Komatsu, Overburden Drill, Compressors, and all Opencast Mining equipment

•Familiar with oil sampling processes.
