Key Responsibilities

Examine, diagnose, and treat patients requiring surgical intervention.

Develop and execute individualized treatment and surgical plans.

Perform a wide range of general and laparoscopic surgeries following best-practice guidelines.

Coordinate multidisciplinary patient care with anesthetists, nurses, and other specialists.

Prescribe medications and oversee postoperative care and recovery.

Conduct daily patient rounds and update clinical documentation.

Participate in departmental quality improvement and clinical audit programs.

Uphold hospital safety standards, infection control, and patient confidentiality at all times.

Mentor junior doctors and nursing staff in surgical techniques and patient care standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

MD / MS / DNB in General Surgery from a recognized institution.

Board-certified and registered General Surgeon with valid medical license.

Minimum 5 years of post-specialization clinical experience.

Proven expertise in open and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
