Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage neurological conditions including stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, neuropathies, and headache disorders.
Lead inpatient, outpatient, and emergency neurology services.
Oversee stroke management, including acute intervention and multidisciplinary rehabilitation planning.
Perform and interpret diagnostic procedures such as EEG, EMG, and lumbar punctures.
Collaborate with neurosurgeons, radiologists, rehabilitation specialists, and other clinicians for integrated patient care.
Develop and implement treatment protocols aligned with current best practices.
Train and mentor medical staff and residents in neurological care.
Participate in clinical audits, research, and continuing medical education.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to hospital quality standards.
Qualifications
Medical Degree (MBBS, MD, or equivalent) from a recognized medical school.
Postgraduate qualification in Neurology (DM Neurology / MRCP (UK) or equivalent).
Valid medical license and registration with relevant medical council.
Minimum 3–4 years of post-specialization clinical experience in neurology.
Proven expertise in both inpatient and outpatient neurological care.
