Emergency Room (ER) Physician, Brits

A leading hospital in the Caribbean is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Emergency Room (ER) Physician to provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care within its Emergency Department. The successful candidate will manage acute medical and trauma cases, collaborate with specialists, and contribute to the department’s operational excellence. Key Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses, injuries, and emergencies.

Perform life‑saving interventions and emergency medical procedures as required.

Develop and implement individualised treatment and stabilisation plans.

Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgeons, anaesthetists, and internal medicine specialists.

Prescribe medications and order appropriate diagnostic investigations.

Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.

Maintain clear and accurate documentation in compliance with hospital standards.

Participate in the development and implementation of clinical protocols and emergency preparedness plans.

Contribute to departmental meetings, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Provide compassionate, timely, and professional care to all patients.

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD / MBBS) from a recognized institution.

Valid license to practice and board certification in Emergency Medicine (or equivalent).

Certification in Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience in emergency or acute care medicine.

Proficiency in English.
