A leading tertiary care hospital in the Caribbean is seeking an experienced and compassionate Oncologist to join its multidisciplinary cancer care team. The role involves providing comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and management of cancer patients using evidence‑based medical oncology practices. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with specialists in surgery, pathology, and radiology to deliver patient‑centered care and contribute to the advancement of oncology services across the region.Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and manage a range of oncological conditions using chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and hormonal treatments. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to patient needs and clinical evidence. Participate in multidisciplinary tumour boards with surgeons, radiologists, and radiation oncologists.Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and ensure continuity of care throughout the cancer journey. Provide empathetic counselling and support to patients and their families. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policies. Contribute to departmental research, clinical trials, and protocol development.Stay current with global advancements in oncology and participate in continuing medical education. Qualifications
MD / DNB / DM in Oncology (Medical, Haemato‑Oncology, or Clinical Oncology). Valid medical license to practice as an Oncologist. Minimum 4–5 years of post‑specialization experience. Proven expertise in chemotherapy administration and cancer management. Skills&Competencies
In-depth understanding of modern oncology practices and treatment modalities. Strong clinical judgment and patient management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
