A leading South African manufacturer of certified organic fertilisers, soil conditioners, and pest control for agriculture and gardening is hiring a Technical Sales Representative.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales
(70% of work)
Analyse soil, sap, and leaf data, to develop comprehensive fertilizer recommendations&programmes.
As their customers are typically Regenerative/Organic growers, the successful incumbent will need to exhibit advanced“natural systems” thinking, not just NPK + lime.
Assist with planning and running trials.
Develop and conduct training for customers, agents, distributors etc.
Strategy, Innovation&R&D
(20% of work)
Support R&D efforts to develop new products and improve existing products.
Ensure our technical approach is leading and up to date with the latest knowledge.
Integrate new technologies in Agriculture into our products and service offering with a strong emphasis on data gathering&management.
Product Management
(10% of work)
Manage fertiliser registrations (Act 36).
Maintain all other documentation, SDS, GHS, etc.
Support Organic certification audits and product certification.
Candidate Profile
Required Experience
Strong background in agronomy, soil science, or related field.
Demonstrated experience in biological, organic, or regenerative systems.
Experience working directly with farmers or agricultural operations.

Understand the interaction between soil, plant, climate, and economics.
Focuses on long‑term sustainability and outcomes.
Data&Technology Awareness
Comfortable using and interpreting agricultural data
