Project Co-ordinator, Cape Town

Our client is an independent Retail Project Management firm, contracted with preferred partner supplier status to one of SA's retail giants. 

They are looking for a Project Co-ordinator to handle all the back end administration (timelines, quotes, requisitions, billing, payments, etc), while the Project Managers deal with clients, contractors and travel for installation. 

The client's aggressive new and refurb rollout for 2022 is aggressive, and as such, our client needs to increase his team. 

Key skills and responsibilities:

• Understanding of Costing Documents
• Assist Project Managers with the Procurement of Manufacture/Fixtures Items. i.e. Dealing with Suppliers for Quotes and with client's Procurement Team 
• Sending out Requests for Quotes on email
• Generating requisitions
• Sending out requisitions for internal client approval (converting email quotes to requisitions on the clients software system) 
• Saving up all Quotes onto BIM Platform, etc.

Key requirements:

• Tertiary qualification is advantageous
• An understanding of design/ interior construction would be a huge advantage
• Exceptional computer skills, with advanced Excel
• Coupa Software Experience is not necessary, but would set the candidate apart from others.
• BIM Software Experience is not necessary, but would be beneficial
• Self Starter that can work independently from home; will however also need to be available to meet on MS Teams, and engage with the Client online
• High attention to detail
• Must be Cape Town Based
• Must have drivers license and own vehicle
• Candidate will work from home, but must be able to travel to occasional meeting
• Must have own laptop, and smart phone, with reliable internet access. Our client will provide Office 365 and all software licenses and logins neeeded
• BBBEE Candidate is preferable
