SQL Technical Lead, Cape Town

As Technical Lead, your main responsibility would be to manage the technical aspects of the solutions delivery systems , and also the developers within the domain. You will also be making technical contributions to solutions. 

Duties include:

• Managing the technical aspects of the solution delivery and systems within the
  domain
• Define the technical direction for the domain
• Running of the domain, including sprint planning, design, drive
  delivery, retros, understanding root cause of issues/instability
• Managing impact/risk
• Review code and approve changes
• Technical analysis, root cause analysis and designing preventative
  actions
• Identify areas for continuous improvement of both systems and architectural
  standards
• Lead a team of developers

Requirements:

• Relevant degree
• Team management experience
• 8+ years experience in development 
• Exceptional SQL skills
• SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, & Power BI (or similar) experience 
• AWS cloud experience would be highly advantageous
