Technical Sales Executive (Civil Engineering), Cape Town

A leading specialist software company with the aim of developing quality software for the engineering and design industries. are currently looking for a Software Sales Executive to be based at their Tokai office in Cape Town.

Skills/Responsibilities required but not limited to:

• Conduct executive-level sales engagements and establish and maintain strong relationships throughout the new business development sales cycle, in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
• Understand the needs of the customer and articulate the value of our software solution's capabilities and services in meeting those needs through Value Based Consultative Selling.
• Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
• Self-motivated and able to manage your own success.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and maintain deadlines without sacrificing quality of work, with excellent attention to detail.
• Organized, meticulous and interested in learning within a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrable excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• CRM logging and reporting.
• Code 8 driver's licence with own transport.
• Willing to travel away from home for at least two weeks a month.

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Five to ten years' experience in the technical civil engineering sales sector.
• National Diploma or equivalent in Civil Engineering would be advantageous.
• Civil infrastructure software sales experience would be advantageous.
• Proven proficiency in the use of software packages such as the MS Office platform and web-based CRM tools.

Salary:

• R25 000 - R30 000 per month + commission
