Registered Nurse Psychiatric Trained, Cape Town

LetsLink Recruitment is seeking a Registered Nurse Psychiatric Trained to work at a private hospital based in Gauteng.

Role Summary:

The Registered Nurse in this role is primarily responsible to the unit manager, and in their absence, to the Registered Nurse delegated to assume these duties. Ultimately, the Registered Nurse reports to the Nursing Services Manager. This position requires close cooperation with all nursing colleagues, as the Registered Nurse is an integral member of the nursing team. Collaboration is also essential with members of the Multidisciplinary team, Administrative team, and Clinic management.

Education:

• Must be a Qualified Psychiatric Nurse (Registered with SANC - South African Nursing Council)

Work Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years of Psychiatric Nursing experience (Essential)
• Must have a strong understanding of confidentiality issues and the use of discretion
• Familiarity with the Nursing Act and SANC regulations

Other Requirements:

• Own reliable transport
