Supply Chain Manager, Cape Town

Job Overview:

Purpose of the job: This position will oversee and manage our warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and procurement functions, ensuring adherence to Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) standards, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our supply chain

Desired experience, qualifications and attributes:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
• 5 Years` Proven experience in supply chain management, with a focus on warehouse operations, logistics, inventory management, and procurement, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
• Solid knowledge of supply chain principles, practices, and processes, including inventory planning, demand forecasting, and procurement strategies, with a strong understanding of Good Warehouse Practice (GWP) requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, evaluate options, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills, with a track record of successfully managing supplier relationships and contracts.
• Experience with the SAGE Evolution ERP system or similar supply chain management software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry, including Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Good Distribution Practice (GDP), with a specific focus on GWP compliance.
