Investment Manager CA (SA), Cape Town

This is an incredible opportunity for a CA (SA) with 4 – 6 years PQE to join a strong team of professionals in Cape Town, providing venture debt and loans to innovative and growing SMEs.

This is a Cape Town based role serving international clients - mainly UK, EU and US presence.

You will have deep financial analysis expertise and pride yourself on creating thorough, balanced investment papers. Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is also vital.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the sales team to take deals through to credit.
• Conduct financial due diligence.
• Collaborate with deal originators to identify solid investment opportunities and make improvements to maintain the integrity of their investment process.
• Conduct financial analysis and prepare detailed and impactful credit papers
• Manage multiple deals across a wide range of industries and in different geographical markets.
• Catalyse and manage internal and external stakeholder management.

Requirements:

• CA(SA) with 4-6 years of post-article experience.
• Strong experience in Financial Analysis as well as writing and reviewing credit papers.
• Transaction, Investment or Deal-Making experience.
• Exposure to SMEs and high-growth companies in corporate and commercial finance is vital.
