HR & Payroll Officer Epping Cape Town

Our Client is looking for an HR & Payroll Officer in Epping Cape Town with 5 years' experience.

Salary Highly Negotiable plus benefits

Min Requirements:

Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Labour Relations

A thorough understanding of all appropriate Acts (LRA, BCEA, OSH, EEA, SDA)

Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Generalist / HR & Payroll Officer

Payroll Experience – VIP Payroll 120 Employees

Work experience within the Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Distribution Industry

Experience in the management of skills development, employment equity, and health and safety

IR experience

Union experience – specifically based on manufacturing

Strong industrial relations skills

CCMA experience

Duties include:

Manage one additional staff member in the department

Full HR function

Assist with Recruitment and Selection

Full Payroll function

Be involved in IR and CCMA cases with an outsourced agency

Skills development - Coordinate, and conduct training sessions

Employment equity initiatives – ensuring compliance with relevant legislation

Performance Management and People Development

Ensure personnel records are up-to-date

Facilitate the management of disciplinary and grievances

Advise, coach, and support line on the implementation of HR policies and procedures

HR reporting and administration

Employee wellness initiatives

Drive employment equity, health, and safety
