About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our dedicated team in a peaceful farm setting just outside Paarl. This is a unique opportunity to work in a supportive, nature-filled environment while providing top-quality care to a variety of animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist veterinarians in medical and surgical procedures.

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients, including monitoring vital signs, administering medication, and post-operative care.

• Maintain a clean and well-organized clinical environment.

• Educate and support pet owners regarding health, nutrition, and post-treatment care.

• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as radiography and laboratory tests.

• Handle patient admissions, recordkeeping, and inventory management.

• Provide compassionate handling and restraint of animals to ensure their comfort and safety.

• Support farm animal health and wellness when required.

What We're Looking For:

• A qualified Veterinary Nurse (Diploma or Degree).

• Registration with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC).

• Passion for animal care and welfare.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work in a rural setting and embrace a farm lifestyle.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative.

• Previous experience in a mixed practice or small animal hospital is advantageous.
