Role Summary:
Seeking a professional civil engineer, focusing on critical infrastructure projects. This role involves comprehensive condition assessments, stormwater management, and infrastructure upgrades, requiring strong technical expertise and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct civil infrastructure condition assessments, identifying defects and their impact.
Perform defect analysis using rating systems (e.g., corrosion, cracks).
Develop and maintain asset registers with condition ratings and risk assessments.
Prepare detailed technical reports on infrastructure conditions and maintenance strategies.
Engage with municipal stakeholders and clients, ensuring project alignment.
Analyze visual data for repair needs and future risk estimations.
Participate in stormwater management projects, including site assessments and conceptual design (e.g., hydraulic modeling, drainage upgrades).
Undertake project management duties: organizing meetings, minutes, and direct client communication.
Contribute to design development for various civil engineering projects.

Qualifications:
BScEng Civil Engineering with Honours (recognized university).
Mandatory Professional Registration with the relevant engineering council (e.g., ECSA for South Africa).
3-5 years post-registration experience in civil engineering, specifically in condition assessments, stormwater management, and infrastructure.
Proficiency in civil engineering software (e.g., Civil Designer for stormwater modeling) and Microsoft Excel.
Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability under pressure. Natural leader.

Fast learner, resourceful, effective under pressure, proficient in MS Office and civil design, experienced in stormwater modeling, skilled in report writing, presentations, invoicing, and client communications.
