We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Cloud Architect
to join our team in the
Financial Services
industry. The Cloud Architect will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cloud technologies, security protocols, and industry best practices, with a focus on optimizing performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.Duties&Responsibilities
Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for cloud infrastructure construction and cloud migration solution design Lead modernization and migration efforts for on-premises workloads to the cloud Possess knowledge and hands-on experience in building and managing cloud and hybrid solutions, specifically in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (AWS)Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of enterprise IT strategies and concepts Exhibit a track record of effectively prioritizing and executing tasks under high-pressure conditions Spearhead the development of resilient cloud hosting architectures Implement industry best practices and frameworks for service controlsManage technical documentation, including bulletins and release notes for known issues Collaborate with management to identify areas for improvement, enhancing overall environment integrity and functionality Take ownership of technical cases, including escalation and management until resolution Proficient in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud computing servicesExperienced in implementing Cloud Adoption Frameworks Exposure to support roles and familiarity with IT Service management (ITIL) methodologies Working knowledge of relevant data privacy, security practices, and laws Skilled in performance optimization and capacity planning for virtualized environmentsKnowledgeable in SAN storage and backup environment administration Familiarity with cloud security concepts Solid understanding of a wide range of ICT technologies Experienced in supporting Microsoft technologies, including Windows Server and Client OS, Active Directory, Remote Desktop Services, SQL, IIS, DNS, and DHCPExpertise in Cloud Hosting Platforms, App Modernization, and Automation across Web, APIs, Databases, and operating systems Desired Experience&Qualification
IT qualification coupled with over 4 years of experience as a Support Engineer, focusing on Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) products±3 years of experience in designing and supporting Microsoft Azure environments, encompassing IaaS and PaaS Certified as a Microsoft Azure/ Amazon Web Services (AWS) Solutions ArchitectIn-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, including services such as compute, storage, networking, and security Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies, containers, microservices, serverless computing, and DevOps practices Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go for automation and scripting tasks Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
