Requirements

Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology (preferred)

6+ years' proven experience in back-end software development, project delivery, and implementation

Strong

Python

skills (primary language);

Java

experience beneficial

Solid experience with

AWS

services (RDS, EC2, Lambda; Odin and EKS clusters advantageous)

Comfortable working in fast-paced, regulation-driven environments

Experience in anti-money laundering, financial crime, or regulatory compliance projects (advantageous)

Willingness to learn and upskill - especially in Python if coming from a Java background

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills

Excellent communication and relationship management abilities

Familiarity with monitoring, error logging, and dashboarding tools

Experience with

CI/CD pipelines

and DevOps practices

Cloud experience on platforms beyond AWS will also be considered if adaptable
