Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer, Cape Town

Overview

To be responsible for collecting all customer related technical requirements, requirements from applicable industry standards, and higher-level system requirements, and compile detailed requirements at product level. To then interface with other engineering disciplines within the company, including RF, Antenna, Mechanical, Electronic, and Software to jointly develop Hardware and Software requirements to enable design and development.To work with the same engineering groups to ensure these requirements are validated and verified by testing or analysis of all requirements. Responsibilities

Developing and Maintaining system technical baseline which will involve interfacing with product subject matter experts within Engineering System integration and system level verification testing Interfacing with program managers and customers on technical and commercial matters Addressing production and maintenance issues.Qualifications

BSc. or MSc in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Radio Frequency (RF) engineer Good knowledge of various engineering disciplines including digital, software, mechanical, and power supplies Knowledge of terrestrial communications systems or satellite communication systemsRequirement management Product Life Cycle Management Affirmative Action and/or EE candidates will be given first preference as per our employment equity strategies.
