My client is urgently recruiting for a Quality / QC Manager Qualifications

Tertiary diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or similar, with associated tertiary training (e.g., Concrete Technology). Trained in ISO9001:2019 Management System. Ideally, 10 years or more experience on civil construction projects. Leadership qualities with experience in managing a team of QA supervisors and technicians.Excellent interpersonal skills. Responsibilities

As the QA/QC Manager, you will be responsible for: Managing QA/QC personnel and ensuring all measuring and test equipment are in valid calibration status. Implementing project-specific quality systems and monitoring their effective use. Representing EXCEL-TERRAIN on quality issues before clients or their representatives.Coordinating inspections and testing in accordance with quality control procedures and inspection/test plans. Handling all matters relating to nonconformance and maintaining inspection records. Participating in project management meetings on issues related to the project quality system. Issuing monthly QA/QC reports within the first week of the following month.Project Quality Management System

You will be responsible for: Ensuring that processes needed for the QMS are defined and compliant with client and contractual requirements. Communicating and promoting customer requirements throughout the project. Monitoring and verifying compliance with the established QMS. Planning and conducting internal audits applicable to the full scope of the project, including lower-tier subcontractors.Reviewing audit results and ensuring timely action to address non-conformances. Improvement

Review customer feedback or complaints and ensure timely action. Identify opportunities for QMS improvement and propose them to project management. Communication

Engage with clients through meetings or other means of communication on aspects relating to subcontractor QMS effectiveness. Provide feedback to project management on project QMS performance. How to Apply
