Pta003258-EP-3 Senior Electronic Engineer required who is passionate about RF-related technologies and design. Our client requires an Engineer with proven skills to lead RF-based product design and development. This includes being responsible for all RF specification requirements, component selection, test and acceptance procedures, and strategies. This leadership role has a training and upskilling component in both theoretical and practical implementation of RF design and testing.Duties&Responsibilities

Cape Town Mission Critical R&D company based in the Western Cape requires an RF Engineer who is passionate about R&D optimized radio technologies. Solutions and products developed for end users in commercial, industrial, aerospace, and embedded markets. The company does full turnkey product development that includes hardware, firmware, software, mechanical, quality assurance, and production design. Qualification and Experience Required

B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering (with preferable post-grad qualification). 5+ years experience with competence in digital, analog, and RF design. Experience with schematic and CAD design tools, and electronic and RF simulation. FPGA design and development is an advantage. Experience in the aviation or military product development environment is advantageous.Experience in automated test and verification equipment is desirable. Responsibilities

Will act as a leader in the use and development of RF-based devices and software. Specifying requirements for RF equipment performance. Establishing maintenance policies for RF products. Develop measurement and evaluation procedures on all RF products. Review and adopt industry standards on relevant RF protocols and regulations.Evaluation of devices and software.
