STRUCTURAL ENGINEER, Cape Town

Key Responsibilities

Prepare preliminary and detailed designs/ sketches/ drawings/ technical reports Conduct site inspections and condition assessments Prepares and maintains projects programme in consultation with external stakeholders Attend weekly Project Planning meetings. Regularly attends external / client meetings (design, project, construction)Highlights resource constraints to line manager and assist to overcome such challenges Ensure quality control and compliance with design codes Contribute to team mentoring and technical reviews Assist in managing project timelines and deliverables Minimum Qualifications

Professional Registration(s): ECSA registration (preferred) Years of Relevant Experience: 5+ years, preferably in structural engineering Preferred Project Experience: Working Knowledge and experience in AutoCAD software. Technical Skills / Software Required: Prokon, AutoCAD, Revit (advantageous), MS OfficeSoft Skills or Cultural Fit Qualities: Strong written and verbal communication skills, Ability to work independently and within a team, Professional conduct with clients and contractors Afrikaans proficiency is beneficial for regional client liaison
