Mineral Process Engineer, Cape Town

Overview

An engineering firm based in Cape Town offering integrated and collaborative engineering, design, consulting, and project management solutions is looking for a to join their team! This is an exceptional opportunity to learn and grow in a multi-disciplinary project house.

Key requirements:

Metallurgical/Chemical Engineering degree (/BSc. Eng). 5-7 years of industry experience. Versed in mineral processing treatment plant design. Technical writing skills for developing documentation (BoDs, PFD, Process descriptions and control specifications)

Key Responsibilities:

Equipment sizing calculations and selections. Development of process mass balances. Designing mineral processing plants. Equipment testing and inspections. Plant commissioning. On site plant audits. Onsite troubleshooting and process optimization. Client and Vendor interactions. Training of plant operators during commissioning.
