Job Description

We are recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner on behalf of a client to play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business objectives while fostering a fair, compliant, and high-performing workplace culture. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced HR generalist who is confident operating in a unionised environment and passionate about delivering practical people solutions that support business growth and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:

Supporting recruitment and talent retention initiatives. Advising management on employee relations matters. Facilitating performance and talent management processes. Driving HR projects and change management initiatives. Ensuring compliance with relevant labour legislation and HR governance requirements. The successful candidate will also partner closely with management teams to provide strategic HR guidance, workforce planning support, succession planning, and HR analytics to support decision-making.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will hold a Degree or relevant Diploma in an HR-related field. At least 3 years’ HR generalist experience within a unionised environment. Strong knowledge of relevant labour legislation, sound employee relations experience, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and computer literacy are essential. A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel and work after hours when required will be advantageous.
