Key responsibilities:

1. Provide substance abuse treatment services to individuals, groups or families including an assessment of the nature, extent and complexity of the disorder.

2. Facilitate early recovery groups, relapse prevention groups and social support groups.

3. Facilitate educational sessions, therapeutic services and referral services for families.

Qualifications:

A relevant degree in Social Science or in the Humanities discipline Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a clinical or counselling psychologist or registered counsellor or as a clinical social worker with the South African Council of the South African Council of Social Service Professionals (SACSSP).

At least 2 years relevant post- qualification.

Working experience with Valid Code EB (08) drivers licence.
