Overview

Hire Resolve’s client in the engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

Design of steel structures and finite element analysis Completing structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from structural steel Conducting finite element modelling & analysis Structural steel and connection design Experience in Civils (Foundation, walls, retaining walls) Vibration design of structures; natural frequency and harmonic response analyses Design of land-based and marine mining structures for ships

Requirements:

Structural Engineering degree (/BSc. Eng/ 5-7 years of industry experience Proficiency in FEA in Strand7 Experience in structural steel and connection design Advantageous: Exceptional problem-solving skills, multi-disciplinary skills related to engineering, highly organised and self-motivated, VBA & API integration with Strand7

Benefits:
