What will you be doing?

The role reports into the Business Unit Director of the ENT Division and is responsible for providing overall leadership and strategic direction across the Coastal Region to deliver the ENT Franchise business strategy and financial KPIs.

The role will be responsible for developing and implementing business plans to maximise revenue and profit potential, plus developing the associated organizational capabilities to deliver on the market growth programs.

What will you need to be successful?

At least 5 years working experience in life sciences; medical devices industries, demonstrating a proven track record in sales, marketing and general management across organizations which were growing and innovating.Experience with P&L, budgeting, finance, organizational design, talent, change management, strategy development and execution.Strong understanding and knowledge of the South Africa market, including regulatory and legal policies and environment to mitigate risk to the business. A thorough understanding of Market Access issues is important.Excellent commercial and business acumen to navigate, and negotiate with, key stakeholders, both internal and external, in a challenging and competitive environment.Strong track record of growth and achieving results in line with business objectives, including profit targets and building top and bottom-line growth.The demonstrated the ability to create new and innovative approaches to managing the business, demonstrating flexibility, open mindedness, and adaptability to rapidly changing environments.

Successful candidates would need the following:

Matric QualificationBachelor’s Degree in either a Business or Scientific disciplineAt least 8 years of post-qualification sales experience.Of which a min of 5 years medical device/pharma sales experienceTheatre Experience is essential.Minimum of 4 year's Sales Management experience in the Medical or Pharmaceutical field.Extensive knowledge of the Medical Devices IndustryDemonstrated track record of expertise and career progress, within the medical devices landscape and the ability to develop strong relationships with KOL's.
