Overview

A well-established client of ours is currently looking for the expertise of an experienced and ambitious Construction supervisor to join their team of professionals.

Key Requirements:

Driver’s License (Code 8) Diploma in Civil Engineering 3 Years of Experience Experience in water/sewer pipework Experience in Pipe Bursting

Responsibilities:

Resource & Material Management Monitor Cost and Production Make effective decisions and solve problems that may arise Conduct monthly measurements and data for progress statements Maintains project administration in a correct and timely manner. Orders materials and equipment and takes care of the necessary permits. Accomplishes construction human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, and training employees. Assesses safety and finance goals. Manages sub-contractors by locating, evaluating, and selecting contractors. Meets operational standards by contributing construction information to strategic plans and reviews. Meets construction budget by monitoring project expenditures. Accomplishes construction project results by defining project purpose and scope. Approves construction projects by conducting inspections at critical phases. Prevents fines and work interruptions by complying with, and enforcing, codes. Maintains a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following guidelines, standards, and procedures.
