Senior Electrical Engineer
to play a pivotal role in shaping, delivering, and optimising high-quality renewable energy projects. This is a
hands‑on leadership role
for an experienced engineer who wants ownership, technical influence, and the opportunity to work on meaningful, future‑focused energy solutions.
About the Role As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take responsibility for
technical excellence, system performance, and engineering best practice
across renewable energy projects. You will work closely with clients, internal teams, and contractors— from early design and feasibility through to installation, commissioning, and performance optimisation.
This role suits an engineer who enjoys
problem‑solving, client engagement, and seeing projects through end‑to‑end , while contributing to the ongoing growth and refinement of our technical standards and processes.

Key Responsibilities Engineering&Technical Leadership
Lead the design, optimisation, and implementation of solar PV and battery energy storage systems
Perform advanced system simulations using tools such as
Helioscope and PVSyst
Conduct site investigations to assess electrical constraints, system requirements, and feasibility
Ensure installations meet performance, quality, and compliance standards
Provide senior‑level technical guidance, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
Project Delivery&Operations
Manage
end‑to‑end
project delivery, from concept through commissioning
Oversee installations, quality control, safety compliance, and contractor coordination
Identify and implement
process improvements , contributing to internal best practice
Respond to and manage technical escalations and emergency situations
Client Engagement&Commercial Support
Engage with clients to understand requirements and propose tailored energy solutions
Conduct site assessments and attend client meetings, providing senior technical insight
Lead the preparation of
technical proposals, performance reports, and energy audits
Assess backup and UPS requirements, proposing robust, reliable power solutions
Qualifications
BSc, B.Eng, B.Tech qualification in Electrical Engineering
Experience and Knowledge
Proven experience in the solar and renewable energy sector , with exposure to
commercial and industrial projects
Demonstrated project management experience, with the ability to lead projects from design through to implementation and commissioning.
Solid understanding of system design, operational performance, and key commercial and business drivers impacting project viability.
Experience with electrical system design, simulation, and project execution within renewable energy environments.
Strong technical expertise in backup power systems, UPS, and solar installations.
Experience engaging with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Good at adhering to strict safety guidelines and safety risks.
Proficient in fault‑finding and troubleshooting, with the ability to resolve technical and operational issues efficiently.
Sound knowledge and practical application of relevant electrical and renewable energy compliance requirements.
Understanding of system design, operation, and key commercial and business drivers.
Skills and Attributes
Proactive, solutions‑driven problem solver, able to anticipate challenges and implement effective technical solutions.
High level of accountability and ownership, with a hands‑on approach to project delivery.

Working Hours Normal working hours are Mondays to Fridays from 08:00 until 17:00 with a 45 minute lunch break. The company allows employees, by approval of the direct manager, to work flexi‑time between 06h30 and 18h30.
