Production Manager, Cape Town

PRODUCTION MANAGER We are seeking a hands‑on and experienced Production Manager to join our manufacturing client’s team in Bellville. The successful candidate will be responsible for all activities regarding production.

Duties&Responsibilities:

Overseeing Milling, Packaging&Mixing operations

Achieving production and extraction targets

Minimizing downtime and maximizing plant efficiency

Leading, training, and performance‑managing production teams

Ensuring food safety, hygiene, and plant safety compliance

Overseeing maintenance schedules

Managing production materials and ingredients stock levels

Driving bran sales to prevent overstock

Recruitment of sufficient and competent staff in a cost‑effective manner

Goal setting and goal management of department

Requirements:

Proven experience in milling or food production

Strong leadership and technical ability

Excellent problem‑solving skills

Solid reporting and administrative capability

High standards of accountability and discipline

Willingness to work weekend duty every 5 weeks
