Basic Salary: R30,000 per month + uncapped commission

Fundwell is a high-growth financial technology platform specialising in capital access and management solutions for US-based small and medium enterprises. As we scale toward our 200-seat milestone in Cape Town, we are seeking experienced Sales Team Leaders to join our leadership structure and drive measurable performance across our Business Development Representative (BDR) teams.

This is a front-line leadership position requiring both operational management capability and active sales participation. The successful candidate will coach, develop, and performance-manage a team of BDRs while maintaining personal productivity on the dialer. We are looking for leaders who set the standard by example — not from behind a desk.

Requirements

• Drive daily, weekly, and monthly team productivity with direct accountability for verified application volumes
• Conduct structured daily huddles and live call coaching sessions, including real-time objection handling demonstrations
• Monitor and report on critical performance metrics: volume, decline rates, approval ratios, and funded outcomes
• Identify underperformance early and implement corrective coaching or formal Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)
• Personally submit a minimum of 5 qualifying applications per month, tracked separately from team targets
• Ensure full compliance with Fundwell's ethical standards and communication protocols, and maintain a team decline rate below 60%
