Specialist: Technician - Service (Multifranchise Cape Town)

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Specialist Technician-Service to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role will be performing routine maintenance and repair services on equipment and machinery. The Specialist Technician-Service will troubleshoot and diagnose issues, recommend solutions, and complete repairs in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with equipment and machinery

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on various systems

Recommend solutions and provide estimates for repair work

Maintain accurate records of work completed

Install, repair, or replace components as needed

Communicate with clients to provide updates on repair status and recommendations for ongoing maintenance

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of service department

Qualifications

Qualified Automotive Technician

Minimum of 2 years of experience in service technician role

Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks effectively

Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment as needed

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move heavy equipment

Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights

Ability to stand, sit, or kneel for extended periods of time

Valid driver's license and clean driving record
