About the job Pharmaceutical Sales Representative Purpose:
Responsible for own hand sales in order to meet monthly targets.
Duties and responsibilities:
Selling scheduled products and services using solid arguments to prospective customers
Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers
Engaging with customers on a commercial level on product support
Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales
Present, promote and sell products/services using solid commercial arguments to existing and prospective customers
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to high potential unallocated customers
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyse the territory/markets potential, track sales and status reports
Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
Qualifications and experience:
Matric
Diploma/Certification in Sales
1-2 years experience in the sales environment
Previous experience with PDA Repwise system or similar
Experience in sales or working in the pharmaceutical environment is highly advantageous
