Key Responsibilities

Concept to Creation: Take client briefs, translate them into innovative design concepts, sketch proposals, and deliver impactful client presentations.

Design Development: Create designs that align with briefs, budgets, and regulations, producing detailed technical, construction, and council documentation.

Supplier&Site Liaison: Source quality materials at competitive prices, brief contractors, conduct site inspections, and complete snag lists.

Project Collaboration: Partner with project managers to ensure seamless handovers and project delivery.

Mentorship: Coach and guide junior designers and technicians, fostering growth and excellence.

Brand Representation: Act as a brand ambassador, nurturing professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Skills&Experience Required

5-7 years of experience in corporate interior design and space planning.

Proficiency in Revit, BIM workflows, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign, and Canva.

Strong conceptual and 3D thinking abilities, with practical application.

In-depth understanding of construction methods.

Extensive knowledge of local suppliers and awareness of current design trends in South Africa.

Skilled in taking accurate and comprehensive briefs.

Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised.

Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities.

Strong problem-solving skills, initiative, and adaptability.

Entrepreneurial mindset with solid business acumen.

Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Proficient in MS Office and Google Suite.
