Responsibilities The Finance Manager will operate across multiple areas of the finance function, contributing to core financial reporting processes and broader commercial and operational activities. This is not a purely reporting role. It requires ownership, sound judgement, and the ability to engage meaningfully beyond the numbers.

Financial reporting and month-end/year-end processes within a listed company environment

Review and oversight of financial information to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance

Supporting external audit processes and engaging directly with auditors

Financial controls, governance, and adherence to regulatory and listing requirements

Providing financial analysis and insight to management and key stakeholders to support decision-making

Participation in ad hoc projects, process improvements, and cross-functional initiatives

Management, mentoring, and development of finance team members

Requirements

Qualified CA(SA)

Articles completed at one of the large audit firms

Minimum of 2 years post-articles experience

Experience within a listed company environment, or strong exposure to listed clients, would be advantageous

Demonstrated people, process, or workflow management experience

Solid grounding in financial reporting, controls, and professional standards

Clear evidence of career progression and increasing responsibility post-articles
