We have opportunities available for students to gain practical work experience in their field of study through 12‑18 month internships at our Head Office in Cape Town. In return, successful candidates will be paid an allowance to cover basic travel costs. The position for the interactive/motion graphics designer intern will work across all TFGJ brands.

Working within the creative team this position’s key objective is to bring to life the campaigns that drive the business change of pace across all digital touch points (including social media assets, e‑mail marketing, YouTube video editing, website landing pages and banner ads). One of the key opportunities is ensuring customer centricity from conception.

Requirements

Design degree/diploma with specialization in interactive design, motion graphics, or animation

User experience design skills

Traditional art skills

Understanding of animation and 3D design skills

Good understanding of typography

Creativity and ability to think creatively

Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Animate, and Adobe XD)

Qualifications Interactive design, motion graphics, or animation.
