Description
We are looking for a skills development coordinator who will be responsible for the full end-to-end administration, coordination, and implementation of all learning and development initiatives. This is a hands‑on operational role requiring direct execution of training administration, SETA processes, learnership management, reporting, and compliance activities.Your main responsibilities will be:
Develop and implement annual and operational training plans aligned to business needs, WSP/ATR objectives, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate and oversee training delivery, quality assurance, and performance measurement. Design and implement accredited and non-accredited training programmes in line with organisational and SETAManage end-to-end training administration, including scheduling, provider coordination, learner communication, documentation, attendance tracking, purchase orders, and invoice processing. Maintain accurate training records across LMS, SharePoint, and compliance files. Compile and submit WSP and ATR reports.Ensure compliance with the Skills Development Act and relevant SETA requirements (e.g., TETA). Maintain audit‑ready documentation and support SETA verification processes. Manage Mandatory and Discretionary Grant applications, implementation tracking, and reporting to maximise grant recovery. Coordinate and administer learnerships, internships, and other structured learning programmes, ensuring full contractualand regulatory compliance.Provide accurate Skills Development reporting for BBBEE verification and maintain supporting documentation. Budget&Financial Control Support training budget tracking, grant spend reconciliation, and month‑end reporting. The ideal candidate should have:
Grade 12 and a relevant tertiary qualification in Learning&Development, HR, or related field SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) qualification Train‑the‑Trainer qualification (advantageous) 3–5 years’ experience in Learning&Development coordination Proven experience with SETA processes, WSP/ATR submissions, grant management, and accredited training administration Experience in learnership coordination and BBBEE Skills Development reporting High attention to detail with a compliance‑driven approach Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook)
