Manage your own sales pipeline while aligning with company processes and standards.
Deliver exceptional levels of customer service throughout the client journey.
Collaborate closely with colleagues, management, and operational teams to ensure a seamless travel experience.
Requirements
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience within luxury travel, safari sales, or bespoke travel planning.
Strong working knowledge of Southern African destinations and luxury lodge products, including:
Botswana
Zimbabwe
Zambia
Namibia
Mozambique
Eswatini
Lesotho
Proven track record in conversions, sales performance, and revenue generation.
Experience using Wetu, Tourplan, or similar CRM and itinerary-building systems.
Tertiary qualification in Travel&Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or Marketing advantageous.
Fluent in English; additional languages such as German, Italian, Spanish, French, or Dutch are beneficial.
Commercially minded with a strong understanding of margins, profitability, and conversion metrics.
High emotional intelligence with the ability to understand client motivations and build trust quickly.
Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working independently or remotely.
Calm under pressure with a solution-oriented mindset.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Passionate about Africa, conservation, sustainability, and meaningful travel experiences.
What’s on Offer
Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.
Opportunity to work with a respected luxury safari and travel brand.
Access to ongoing training, mentorship, and operational support.
Career growth opportunities within a high-performance environment.
The opportunity to contribute towards conservation and community-focused travel initiatives across Southern Africa.
This role is well suited to someone who:
Thrives in a sales-driven, high-performance environment.
Enjoys crafting premium safari itineraries with creativity and precision.
Has extensive knowledge of Southern Africa and luxury safari travel products.
