Production/Maintenance Supervisor

Our client, a leader in Scrap Metal Recycling and Waste Management Solutions, is looking for a Production/Maintenance Supervisor to join their team at one of their metal recycling plants in Wetton, Cape Town. Duties&Responsibilities

Responsibilities : To plan, coordinate, and implement all repairs and maintenance activities for the Processing Facility within the constructs of Occupational Health and Safety Regulations; and oversee the day-to-day performance of the Maintenance team. Manage all repairs and maintenance on the plant (preventative and emergency).Staff Management. Procurement, stores, and stock control. Site compliance. Requirements : Relevant tertiary qualification (Electrical/ Mechanical/ Technical). A Trade Certificate would be preferred. Proven technical experience. Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.Computer literacy (intermediate) in MS Office and Google Suite software packages. Project management and leadership skills. Physically fit and willing to work in outdoor conditions. Be willing to work overtime (incl. standby and call-out duties) and have a 24/7 availability.
