Purpose Statement Design and implement end-to-end solutions for card management and transaction switching systems. Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define system requirements and business goals. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with industry standards. Lead and mentor a team of developers and engineers.Experience At least 5 years’ relevant end-to-end design and development experience. Proven experience with enterprise architecture frameworks and business process modeling. Strong understanding of network architecture and security protocols. Experience in cloud computing environments, such as AWS, Azure, or Google CloudPlatform.Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) and DevOps practices. 3-5 years’ proven knowledge of and experience with Card Management Systems. Proficient with Amazon Web Services. Linux Server. Card Management/Transaction Switching Systems. SQL Server/Postgres/Oracle. C#/Java.Familiar with containerization technologies. A thorough understanding of PCI DSS and ISO8583. Qualifications Minimum Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational. Ideal or Preferred A relevant qualification in Information Technology. Knowledge Min: Must have detailed knowledge of: System architecture (technical design and implementation processes).Systems analysis and design. UML or equivalent modeling language. Technical Test Plan Design. IT systems development processes. Application development. Standards and governance. Ideal: Detailed knowledge of: Banking systems. Agile development life cycle. Knowledge of UML. Solid understanding of:Bank’s systems environment. Bank business model. Best practices for Quality Assurance (QA). Object-Oriented Development environment (i.e. Java, Spring Framework, JBoss). Skills Communications Skills. Interpersonal&Relationship Management Skills. Analytical Skills. Problem Solving Skills.
