Vacancy: Stock Controller– Cape Town, Western Cape

Our Client, a leader in the Chemical Industry, seeks to employ a Stock Controller to join their dynamic team. Applicants must reside in and around the Cape Town area.

Duties&Responsibilities

Ensuring accurate stock records and optimizing stock movement within the warehouse or storage facilities.

Ensuring minimum and maximum stock levels are maintained.

Overseeing the receiving of raw materials, finished products and other inventory items.

Overseeing storage of products, particularly of fragile items.

Coordinating regular inventory audits on site.

Verifying and inspecting incoming deliveries for accuracy and quality.

Maintaining accurate records of stock levels, movements and usage.

Conducting regular stock counts, reconciliations and audits.

Performing counts and ensuring all inventory is accounted.

Responsible for managing and running planned stock taking.

Desired Experience&Qualification

Matric (Grade 12) certificate.

Proven work experience as a Stock Controller or in a similar role.

Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Good understanding of supply chain procedures.

Experience within the chemicals industry (advantageous).

Pastel or similar ERP experience (advantageous).

Excellent organization and communication skills.

Package&Remuneration Market-related salary.
